- Dear John的典故是二战时期，由于长年分别以致很多情侣被距离拆散，女友们纷纷给战士寄去分手信。由于当时叫John的太多了，信的抬头清一色都是Dear John，所以后来Dear John也就渐渐演变成分手信的代名词了。。。以前听英语老师说的，应该是真实的典故吧~战争真是残酷的= =|||
